Susan Sarandon is one of those celebrities that thinks she is smarter than the American public. Now, as I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Ms. Sarandon has come out and said that if the rest of the country doesn’t agree with her choice for president, she’ll leave the country and move somewhere else.

I haven’t decided who I will be voting for in November. I have some serious problems with both candidates, but I also find some characteristics of each to be attractive. But, no matter what, I will not be telling other people that if they fail to vote the way I want that I will leave the country. Whoever is elected, the country will survive and the majority of us will follow the individual elected through a free and constitutional process, whether we agree with the choice or not.

The problem with these kinds of threats by prima donna celebrities is that they never keep their promise. Maybe they realize that they can be replaced very quickly, very easily, and usually for a whole lot less money. People that want to be in movies are waiting tables in every restaurant in Los Angeles.

Simply because some people are stupid enough to pay her outrageous amounts of money just to make a movie doesn’t mean all the rest of us are equally stupid. And, we would have to be monumentally stupid to vote the way she wants just because she makes a threat to move away.

Ms. Sarandon, let me be the first to volunteer to help you pack. And, you don’t even need to wait until November. You can go right now.
